I first started this company after several friends and family members told me I have this creative gift that they thought I should try to make a living off of. But at first I was very reluctant, but then I met my soul mate and we got married and boy me having a job was looking like it was going to be easy since he does construction and he wanted me to travel with him. So one day I decided to make a basket for a close friend of ours for her birthday and when she got it she said it felt like christmas in July and she didn't even think on christmas she had ever gotten such a nice present. So the very next day she called me and said to me "you have been trying to think of something to do so you can travel with Mike and stay busy, why don't you do your baskets there awsome!"
Well at first I thought she was just being nice, but the more and more I though about it I decided you know it doesnt sound like a bad idea. So I ran it past my husband, and he so sweet he would think if I wanted to sell decorated toilet paper it would be the coolest and the best idea since sliced bread, so that was it I was going to finally do it, I was all fired up to start my own business. I called my mom first thing told her the idea and asked her for help and she was tickled pink to help me get started in my new adventure.
I want every customer to go through an experience with me and feel like if they need anything they can call. I want my company to be the best friend you need when you don't know what to do. Between me and my mom we work hard on everything we make no matter how big or small we put our whole hearts into our products.
